Dry Feet? Foot Creams that Treat Dry Feet

Dry feet are an issue for many Americans, and many people around the world in fact. Feet are exposed to the elements and if left uncovered, direct contact with the dirt, moisture and germs that lay on the ground. For this reason, they are often left in disrepair and even plagued with fungus and other unsightly skin conditions. Dry feet are nothing to excuse as a simple problem. The skin can grow increasingly sensitive and split and damaged leaving you with a serious problem, unless you take steps to prevent it. Foot creams are designed to eliminate these conditions, but very few actually deliver on what they promise. While this does not shock most of us skin care consumers out there, it gets rather costly if we make the wrong purchase doesn't it? Well the author has some insight to offer consumers that may just change all of that. Finding the right foot cream to treat dry feet and heal cracked heels does not have to be as complicated as you may imagine, provided you know what to look for.

To begin with, you do not have to currently have dry feet to begin using a healing foot cream. Just because your feet do not look dry currently does not mean that they are not being stripped of essential oils and moisture each time to you take a show, or walk without shoes or socks. It is a condition that can pop up on anyone and if left untreated can develop into a serious, painful condition. No matter what your age, a daily skin care routine should not be considered complete until a revitalizing foot cream has been applied.

Developing a habit of preventing skin damage is widely accepted by most consumers when it comes to the face, or the overall body when for sun protection. We understand that exposure to too much sun can cause lasting problems for our skin from premature aging to skin cancer. That makes logical sense as the risk is significant. The treatment of dry feet may not lead to skin cancer, but it can lead to significant pain, discomfort and prolonged absences from work while it heals. For many dry feet and cracked heels are a condition they have been living with for years, not knowing how to treat it or which foot cream to purchase.

Foot creams come in a wide range of quality and as a result you need to know which ingredients to look for. A Shea Butter base is important for a foot cream to have. Shea Butter is a quality moisturizer and it seals and protects the skin as well. Super-Sterol Liquid is a medical grade, all natural treatment for dry, split or cracked skin. It penetrates to the source of the problem, healing the damaged tissue and revitalizing the protective layer of your skin. Other healing ingredients are Karanja Oil or Neem oils and are considered very high quality. But a foot cream should not only heal the dry feet, it should also soothe and cool the irritated tissue. To do that a foot cream should employ the use of Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils. Well known as cooling and soothing ingredients they are the ideal combination for dry feet and damage skin. But no foot cream is complete without the use of Manuka Oil. This antihistamine eliminates the itchiness and irritation of dry, cracked skin.

Before you purchase a foot cream to treat your dry feet, be sure that it contains each of these ingredients. Each one plays a crucial role in the treatment of dry feet and are much needed if you hope to be successful in the prevention or treatment of damaged foot skin.
