  Only a handful of flight schools exist in Mexico. These schools have modest training facilities and are well equipped, but most of them only offer training instruction in Spanish. Anyone considering flight school in Mexico will need to speak Spanish fluently. Most students completing the courses in these schools generally are hired by the civil aviation and airlines from within Mexico; however many do graduate and find assignments and jobs with international airlines.
  
  

Latin American Aviation Academy / Academia Latinoamericana de Aviacion

• This Mexican flight school offers courses in private pilot training as well as career oriented courses in pilot training for commercial flights. They also have aviation operation officer training courses and flight attendant training courses. The school has classrooms for theoretical lessons, various air-crafts for in-flight training purposes and flight simulators for training before the actual in-flight training. Their courses are approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA - Mexico). However, the school does not offer student visas for international students.

Aviación Integral Regional / Comprehensive Regional Aviation

• Located at Atizapan Airport in Mexico city, Mexico, Aviación Integral Regional offers comprehensive flying courses for Private Pilots and Commercial Pilots. The students are taught the basics of flying, procedures and regulations in a classroom, followed a by minimum of 40 hours of in-flight training. The aircrafts available for the in-flight training are the Cessna 150, Cessna 150 aerobat and Cessna 172 Skyhawk. The course covers Air Traffic control, Communication, Airframes and Aero Engines, Navigation, Meteorology, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Operations and Air regulations. The school also prepares the students for a 1-hour flight exam which is held at the end of the course. The course for pilot training is also approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Mexico. No courses are offered for foreign students.

Centro Profesional en Adiestramiento Aeroe

• Based in Mexico City, the CPRAA is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the FAA. It offers courses in Private Piloting, Commercial Pilot training and Flight Attending. Lessons are given in classrooms, then flight simulators and finally in real aircraft. This school does offer classes for foreigners with a student visa. Most of the the pilots in the Mexican airlines are train at the CPRAA.
