10 Great Teen Date Ideas

Teen dating is a great way to spend time with your significant other, and to meet new people.
Once in a relationship however, the more conventional date ideas become rusty and outdate or over used.
Here are some fun and exciting date ideas to try out and enjoy.
1: Movies; This is the classic date idea, go to the movies, have a few laughs and then hang out for a little afterwards.
Picking movie suitable for the both of you is highly important, if one of you doesn't enjoy it the date won't be half as fun.
Deciding to watch a comedy vs.
an action or adventure film is a good choice in order to avoid losing the other persons interest(especially for the first dates).
2: The beach; Spending a day at the beach is marvelous date idea, it allows time for bonding and hanging out as well as bringing in amazing views, particularly the sunrise and sunset.
Playing around at the beach is a great way to get active and show your fun side, and to flirt a bit.
3: The park; Hanging out at the park is another date concept that produces a light atmosphere and a great day.
Plan on playing games such as soccer or frisbee, maybe even bring a pet to help keep the day moving.
There are many things to do at a park, especially considering that it's free, you could have a picnic, go canoeing, or just lay out on the grass enjoying each others company.
4: Go on an adventure! Adventures are loads of fun, whether it's following an unknown bike trail, or driving through new parts of town.
Getting lost(with a GPS or other means of getting home) is a fun way to spend the day, talking to each other or singing with the radio is a great way to let the day go by, adventures are a great way to keep things new and fresh.
5: Theme park; Head out to a nearby theme park, whether it be a water park or regular theme park, it's a wonderful way to spend time with each other as a date.
Have fun while riding roller coasters or going on water slides, or just hang out in the lazy river and relax.
Theme parks are a great way to get to know one another while keeping the day fun and exciting.
6: Concert; Going out to a concert is another fun date idea.
Just be sure that you both like the artist and if it's a standing only venue that you are both willing to stand and act as a part of the crowd.
Rock concerts in smaller venues make the whole building shake as the crowd is jumping, and throw in few mosh pits, which is why you might want to consider going to a stadium concert where you have the choice to sit or stand.
Getting to witness a live concert of any genre is a great experience, one that you should share with your significant other.
7: School functions; Although it may not seem like a main stream idea, but going to school functions together such as football games and other school sport games is a great way to spend time together.
Many relationships during your teen years may not have the blessings of your parents and so having a relationship outside of school can be difficult, in those cases going to school games is the perfect time to spend time together.
8: Cooking; Cooking together at home is a fun and interesting date idea that can bring in several different moods, ranging from romantic to fun and humorous.
Plan out a meal that you would both enjoy, and make sure that it takes preparation, making cereal together is not as romantic as it sounds.
Also plan to make the grocery shopping a part of the experience, find as much time to spend together and make it fun! 9: Farmers market; Although it may sound bland and boring at first, the farmers market is full of interesting and delicious goods that you can explore with one another.
As a date, simply go to the farmers market and find things that look interesting or tasty and then go somewhere to enjoy these goods, maybe head over to one of your houses and make a meal or go out and snack on your new found goods.
10: Home movie; This is my absolute favorite date idea, spending hours upon hours with your significant other is a wonderful way to spend a day.
Whether it be a movie marathon of a series or just movies that you've always wanted to see, having a movie day at home is always a good choice.
As opposed to going out the the movie theatre, movies at home give more freedom with how to sit as well as saving extra money.
Getting cuddled up on the couch is a great way to spend a date.
