- 1). Place onto the stripped bolt a bolt-out socket that is slightly smaller than the bolt head you are trying to remove.
- 2). Tap the end of the socket with a rubber mallet to secure the socket over the stripped bolt.
- 3). Turn the socket and bolt counterclockwise using a socket wrench until the stripped bolt is removed.
