- 1). Write your account number, your name and the amount that you want to take out of your account on your withdrawal slip. Sign your name and present the slip to the teller along with a form of identification. If you don't have a withdrawal slip, ask a bank employee for one.
- 2). Write a check in the amount that you want to take from your account. Make the check payable to "Cash" or to yourself. If you make the check out to yourself, sign the back of it when you present it for cash. Give the check to the teller along with your ID.
- 3). Use your debit card at an ATM. Swipe your card or slide it into the machine and enter your personal identification number (PIN). Select "Withdrawal" and choose the account that holds your money. Select or type in the amount that you wish to take out of the account and confirm the transaction.
