- 1). Launch the Adobe Photoshop software on your computer.
- 2). Click "File" in the top menu and select "Open."
- 3). Browse your computer to find your image, then double-click the image to open it in Photoshop.
- 4). Locate the small triangle icon in the bottom section of your image's Photoshop border.
- 5). Click on the triangle and select "Show." This will open up a menu that allows you to choose the information that is shown in the bottom border of your image.
- 6). Select "Document Size" to show how much data is in your image file.
- 7). Select "Document Dimensions" to show the actual dimension size of your image and the image's resolution in pixels per inch (ppi).
- 8). Click on "Image" in the top menu and select "Image Size" to launch the Image Size tool. The Image Size tool will offer more information such as the exact pixel dimensions of the image. This tool will also allow you to resize your image if you need to.
