Simple Tips to Manage your Acne

Beautiful skin attracts attention and praise. Wrinkles actually begin appearing from the day you are born. If you start taking care of your skin when you reach 40 or 50, then it is most likely too late to be very effective. It is a better idea to start really caring for your skin when you are younger. In this regard there are seven quick tips for health skin care that you should keep in mind.

Exercise makes the heart stronger, lowers blood pressure, and keeps you healthy overall. Exercising regularly also triggers the human body to generate extra sebum which is the body's natural moisturizer. It is beneficial to your skin on a number of levels.

In order to have healthy skin, eat plenty of food like fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, organic fruits and vegetables are considered healthier for you today.

Adequate water intake prevents dehydration, cleans out the body, and promotes healing processes including healthy skin. In order to have healthy skin, you should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water each and every day.

arrow.gif Get plenty of rest. You need to give your skin a time to refresh and heal while you rest. Therefore, it is important that you do get plenty of regular rest. Keep in mind that stress is bad for your skin. Stress can creates instability in your hormonal balance which in turn can lead to more skin problems including acne breakouts. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day. Sleep in a dark, quiet room.

arrow.gif Avoid smoke and alcohol. It is never too late to quit smoking and to decrease your use of alcohol. Both smoking and drinking to excess can damage your skin. Smoking also increases your chance of having a heart attack, lung disease, cancer and tends to destroy the Vitamin C in your body, damage the elastic tissues that keep the skin tight. Drinking liquor on the other hand tends to expand your blood vessels causing red spots and itchiness on your skin.  In either event, it is important to follow this tip for healthy skin.

For outdoor activity, use SPF 45 because you'll be perspiring and this will cause a lower rated product to be less effective. If you are worried about sunscreen causing acne, which it can, use an oil-free kind especially designed for your face. Don't forget to reapply sunscreen every couple of hours.  Simple Tips to Manage your Acne
