Is ACN a fraud? Scam? How does one determine if a business opportunity is a fraud or scam? Let us first determine the definition of such words. The reason I bring this up is simple, this question is asked so many times around the internet right? As a network marketer, I have many things brought to my attention and/or come across my e-mail account. So let us dive into this question right now.
Wikipedia defines "fraud" as "an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual. The legal jargon or definition, fraud is a crime and also a civil law violation." What this really means to you is simple really. If an individual sells a product or service, and claims that it does "X." The product or service does not accomplish "X" and the main thing here is that the person selling it does so knowing that it doesn't perform. Lying to get the sale.
Knowing the above definition does CAN fall into the definition of "fraud?" Let us get to what CAN is and does before we get into the answer, shall we?
Operating in 20 or more countries, they offer many electronic based products including digital phone service with video phone, wireless, home security, local and long distance, internet and satellite service. All of these products are viable that is purchased by the end consumer.
ACN is structured in such a way that pays their business partners commissions on their own customers as well as the customers of yours that you have recruited and managed. ACN is not in any way a "fraud" by the very definition. ACN represents their products the exact way they should be, truthful.
Some may think that because there are levels of payment that it must be a pyramid scheme; this could not be further from the truth. I get into the pyramid scheme question in another article, but in short, ACN provides products and services that are sold to the END USER and that very point is key to making any multi-level or internet marketing company legal.
Finally, ACN is not a fraud and provides a viable product and service. If you are ok with recruiting everyone you personally know, and are not afraid to meet new people, then this is a company that can earn you commissions and provide additional income to your household. If that does not appeal to you, then you may want to consider looking at other companies.
