We recently renovated our kitchen and when our friends came over to check it out, it was the little things that we added to our kitchen that they raved about.
Of course they liked the look of the kitchen, but it was the little things that they "squealed" over.

The small things that have made my kitchen so much better:
- Boiling water tap at the sink - We drink tea everyday and love this little feature.
Our children love it when they make jello because the boiling water is right hand.
Sounds silly, but once you have one of these, you will not be able to live without it.
You can buy these at any plumbing or big box store. - Kick-vacuum under the sink - This little gadget is connected to your central vacuum system.
Just sweep your crumbs over to this little gadget, push it open with your toe, and then it will suck up all the crumbs for you.
No bending over with the dustpan.
These are also available at the big box stores. - Our "Garbage System" - This is a drawer which we open that has four bins inside.
Two small bins and two large bins.
One of the small ones we use for composting, a large one is for recycling, the second large one is for garbage.
The final small bin we use for storing grocery bags. - The "Magic Corner" (this is not a product name, but what we call this corner unit).
- This is for the bottom corner cupboard.
When you open the cupboard door, it automatically pulls out the drawers from the back.
Wonderful!! No digging to the back anymore. - Garburator - Rinsing off the dishes just got easier.
Any food that is left on the plates can be rinsed in the sink and the food is mulched up by the garburator (except meat and bones - read the instructions).
