- 1). Park your Intrepid on level ground and apply the parking brake. Turn the ignition to the "On" position, and move your shift knob to "Neutral." Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
- 2). Open the hood and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable, using the pliers.
- 3). Insert the trim tool underneath the bezel surrounding the shift knob (rear part of panel). Pry the bezel up with the tool to release the clips. Grasp the disconnected part of the panel and pull up and back to completely unhook the bezel.
- 4). Insert the trim tool behind the lower right-corner of the radio bezel (the corner is exposed, with the shift knob bezel removed). Pry the corner of the bezel away from the dash, and then work your way around the bezel with the tool. Once the bezel is loose, pull it away from the dash and unplug the climate control connection from behind it.
- 5). Remove the four Phillips-head screws from the radio (these are visible when the radio bezel is removed). Pull the radio out of the dash and unplug the wiring harness and the antenna.
