Take A Cruise To The Caribbean As The Fun There Never Stops

The best place to take a short yet memorable vacation would definitely be the Caribbean. It is a holiday that is allows you to relax in the serene beauty and the natural idyllic surroundings will make you feel out of this world. There is a lot of sunshine to soak up in the pristine beaches and lazily watch the seagulls soaring over the clear blue waters. The group of islands would be a dream destination where you can just lay back chill out.

There are a whole lot of exciting spots that you could be visiting as the ship docks at various ports of call some of them totally uninhabited that makes it all the more interesting and exciting. One of the best places would be Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands. The capital of this quaint Island is Road Town which is an ideal place to soak up the sun as it has stretches of fantastic white sand beaches. A cool dip would be invigorating and you could laze around all day or you could just find your way to the Virgin Grotto and swim through the grottos.

A trip to the sage mountain is a must as the breathtaking view of the Islands below is a sight that will stay etched in your memory. You could head back to town and shop to your hearts content in the quaint little shops that dot the town. There are plenty of boutiques that sell trinkets, handmade jewelry and other interesting works of handicraft.

Another place that is a must see and should not be missing in your itinery is the island of St Kitts which is an important island in the group famous for its pristine beauty and unspoiled coastline is sure to mesmerize you. The craggy cliffs and thrilling caves are worth exploring. The lush rainforests would be a welcome change from the concrete jungles you see day in and day out. You could simply loll around in the beach or take a look at the well maintained 18th century houses in the port of Basseterre.

San Juan, in Puerto Rico is a culture feast that you cant afford to miss. It is the second oldest city in the Americas where every brick and wall has a tale to tell. This large natural harbor is home to many artists and musicians. You could listen to some enchanting music while having your portrait painted. You could explore the old buildings which are in the San Juan National Historic Site. The Fort San Cristobal and the 6 storey El Morro castle are 2 such buildings that will interest you as they are connected via underground tunnels that are hundreds of years old.

Art lovers can have a great time visiting the Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico where collections of works from Latin America and the Caribbean are on display. The Puerto Rico Arts Museum has over a 1000 pieces of art that are worth viewing in leisure.

The one other place that you will really enjoy visiting is the Island of St Thomas which is where Charlotte Amalie the capital of the US Virgin Islands is located. Fort Christian an ancient fort is worth visiting, and you could also explore Blackbeards castle. Find your way up to the best vantage point in the Caribbean Paradise Port which is a good 700 ft above the sea level. You could go snorkeling and explore the marine flora and fauna and play with the friendly dolphins.

Finally you could conclude your memorable vacation by visiting the Island of St Maarten which is split into two sections. One part of the Island is Dutch and the other is French. You are sure to find a glass of cool Dutch beer in Philipsburg that is the capital.
