Goku

• Goku, a member of the Sayian race, possesses superhuman strength and other special abilities. Through a form of energy called "Ki," Goku can release controlled blasts of laser as a projectile attack. His most powerful attack is the "Kamehameha," which releases a large blue blast of energy. Goku can also transform into a "Super Saiyan," a state that gives him exponentially more power, speed and Ki.
  
  

Vegeta

• Vegeta, also a member of the Saiyan race, is one of Goku's main adversaries. In fact, Vegeta's main goal in life is to surpass Goku in fighting power and ability. Vegeta is shorter than Goku and slightly more muscular. He also uses Ki energy to increase his fighting power and release projectile attacks. Vegeta's main attack is the "Gallick Gun," which emits a concentrated laser-like blast at his opponent.
  
  

Krillin

• Krillin is the "Dragonball" world's strongest human being, and one of Goku's closest allies. Because Krillin is not a Saiyan, he does not possess nearly as much power as Goku or Vegeta. Krillin does, however, utilize several powerful attacks using Ki energy. The "Solar Flare" attack temporarily blinds opponents. His "Destructo Disc" attack creates a floating disc capable of slicing an opponent's body parts.
  
  

Piccolo

• Piccolo is a part of a fictional race of alien beings called the Namekians. He was one of Goku's toughest foes, but became his ally. Piccolo has a distinguishably green skin color and the ability to regenerate body parts and expand his arms. He can fly, and he's got supernatural hearing and sight. Piccolo's most distinctive attack is the "Special Beam Cannon," an energy beam that can pierce an opponent's body.
  
  

Frieza

• Frieza is a super villain capable of physically transforming his entire body. Each transformation gives Frieza enhanced strength and increased speed. In his strongest transformation, Frieza is able to challenge Goku even when Goku is in his Super Sayian form. Although Frieza has no signature moves, he is capable of creating large orbs of energy with enough power to destroy planets.
