Internal and External Hemorrhoids - What Do They Look Like?

"What do hemorrhoids look like?"
Unless you have experienced having hemorrhoids in the past, you probably would not know what to answer to this question. I admit, before, I did not know the answer as well. I was aware of what hemorrhoids are and have read their description from books but I never really saw one personally. However, I felt the need to be aware of what they really look like so I can easily tell if I already have them in the event that I do develop hemorrhoids. You should too!

To be able to answer the question above, it is good to be clear first of what hemorrhoids are. Basically, hemorrhoids are swollen tissues in the anus which have resulted from too much straining during bowel movements. However, there are other things that can cause hemorrhoids including diarrhea from too much caffeine or liquor consumption, constipation due to lack of fiber in one's daily diet, pregnancy, obesity, etc.

There are two basic types of hemorrhoids, characterized by where they are found. Aside from their location, these two, namely, external hemorrhoids and internal hemorrhoids differ in appearance as well.Easiest Method to cure Hemorrhoids [http://www.piscestattoos.net/hemorrhoids]

The first question you want to answer about external hemorrhoids is, "What do hemorrhoids look like?"

As implied directly, external hemorrhoids are the inflamed tissues and veins on the outside of the anus. Normally, you can find them as lumps located close to the lining of the anus. They are typically brown in color.

The second question you want to answer about is "what do hemorrhoids look like [http://www.piscestattoos.net/hemorrhoids] when pertains internally?"
This type of hemorrhoids involves the tissues and veins located inside your anus. Typically, they are graded 1 to 4.

Those classified as Grade 1 are small inflammations inside the lining of the anus which are not painful and not visible. Those classified as Grade 2 are bigger than Grade 1 hemorrhoids but are also located within the anus. These could be pushed out along with bowels sometimes, but will immediately retract back inside after. Those classified as Grade 3 are referred to as prolapsed hemorrhoids. There are times when Grade 1 or 2 hemorrhoids stretch down until they protrude outside of the anus, resulting in Grade 3 hemorrhoids. In some cases, you can push them gently back inside using your fingers. Finally, those considered as Grade 4 hemorrhoids remain outside the anus. You cannot push them back inside. They are very painful and you need to have them treated by a medical professional right away. Regarding appearance, they are usually light red in color and look like soft tissue that has fallen outside of the anus.
