Vitamin A is an important source of supplement that helps highly in cancer. Oily fish, herring, salmon and mackerel are some of the best sources of vitamin A. fish oil also provide vitamin D and omega 3 fatty acids, which reduces the risk of developing breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Carrots, apricots, sweet potatoes, peppers, red cherries and pumpkins also provide beta-carotene cancer carotenoids that are converted into vitamin A when needed. Tomatoes contain Lycopene, which is also found in strawberry, peppers, carrot and peach.

Egg yolk, leafy green vegetables, beans, pumpkins, carrots, apricots and avocado are a great source of folic acid, which protects the DNA during radiotherapy. Broccoli, cabbage, kale and brussel sprouts have fibers that help binding damaged agents in intestines and eliminating harmful toxins from body. Garlic is another useful anti cancer food that contains tryptophan, selenium and sulpher.
