The new 110,000-ton Carnival Glory became Port Canaveral's largest cruise ship when it sailed for the first time in July 2003. This 2,974-passenger 'Fun Ship' features year-round seven-day Caribbean cruises from the central Florida port encompassing alternating eastern and western Caribbean voyages departing every Saturday.

A third Conquest class ship, the Carnival Valor, was launched in the summer of 2004, followed by two other ships in the Conquest class - the Carnival Liberty, launched in 2006 and the Carnival Freedom, launched in 2007.
