Safariline Africa has custom made a Scenic Safari that combines Nairobi, Aberdares, Nakuru and Masai Mara in one week. On the first day you will be transferred from the airport in Nairobi to Norfolk hotel. This is one of Kenya's oldest and finest hotels in Nairobi. The following day you will be driven to the Ark situated in the Aberdares Mountains. This tree-lodge is uniquely shaped to resemble the actual Ark, designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole. On the third day the party will move to Nakuru.
The road trip will include a drive through some of the most exciting scenery in the Great Rift Valley. The destination is Lake Nakuru National Park which has a huge concentration of flamingos that inhabit the shallow, alkaline lake, along with the Marabou Stork and pelican. Scout the magnificent yellow-barked acacia trees for the elusive napping leopards. Look for incredible wildlife, such as the endangered Rothschild's giraffe, white and black rhino, lion, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck and baboon. Accommodation will be at the Flamingo Hill Camp whose en suite guest tents are decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, and wrought iron and crisp cottons. In the afternoon a game drive will be provided in the park.
Days four, five and six will be spent in the magnificent Masai Mara. The Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife in the world, which are constantly changing as the plains game follows ancient migration routes under the watchful eyes of the lion, leopard and cheetah that prey on the vulnerable. Three overnights will be at Mara Sarova Tented Camp set on an elevation surrounded by two streams. The Camp is uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees. Finally on day seven you will depart for Nairobi after breakfast. In the evening a complimentary dinner will be provided at the Carnivore a meat specialty restaurant. Later you will be dropped off at your nominated address after an exciting safari.
