- 1). Apply an over-the-counter eye cream or serum that moisturizes the delicate skin around your eyes. Gentle eye cream can be applied nightly, and eye serum or treatments can be applied weekly. These serums are meant to firm the skin around the eyes so the crow's feet wrinkles are tightened and no longer visible.
- 2). Mix skin-saving recipes at home. Combine 1 tsp. lemon juice with 1 tsp. orange extract; apply the mixture around your eyes and let sit for 10 minutes. You can also blend 1 tbsp. Caster oil with 1 tbsp. sesame oil and apply to your crow's feet before bed.
- 3). Tighten skin by dabbing the area around your eyes with water and placing a slice of potato over your eyes for 10 minutes. You can also beat an egg white, apply it to the area around your eye and let it dry. Remove the egg white with a cotton ball that's moistened with cold water.
- 4). Prevent new crow's feet from forming. This is possibly even more important than getting rid of existing crow's feet. Avoid the sun when possible, and if you must expose your skin to the sun, protect your skin with sunblock, hats and sunglasses. Moisturize and exfoliate regularly. Also, quit smoking; cigarettes can cause wrinkles.
- 5). Drink plenty of water, which keeps your skin moisturized from the inside out. Skin that's moisturized instead of dry is less prone to wrinkles.
- 6). Botox is a common treatment to get rid of wrinkles. Consult your doctor before getting this procedure.
