- 1). Draw the handle and the umbrella pole by drawing a long lower case "J" without a dot.
- 2). Draw an arc at the top of the "J," with the center of the curve meeting the top of the umbrella pole. The curve is the umbrella cover.
- 3). Draw two more arcs of narrowing width beneath the first arcs. The arcs will form the umbrella ribs.
- 4). Draw an arch between the end lines of each curve to complete the umbrella cover.
- 5). Draw identical lines on either side of the "J" to make the handle more prominent.
- 6). Draw a small curved triangle at the top of the large arc for the bell cap. Erase any guide lines. Use a color of your choice to color the umbrella.
