- 1). Notice feelings in your scrotum and testicles. These changes are perhaps the most noticeable when it comes to testicular cancer. It is recommended that you see your doctor when you start noticing the following: a lump or hardening of one of your testicles, if your testicle starts to feel ridged instead of smooth, a build-up of fluid in the scrotum and shrinking of one testicle (the non-cancerous testicle) due to lack of blood flow.
- 2). Notice changes in your sexuality. This group of symptoms may or may not be present in men effected with testicular cancer and may not be present at all in the early stages of the cancer. it is recommended that you report the following symptoms to your doctor as soon as you start to notice them: blood in your semen, partial or complete lack of sexual activity and sexual withdrawal.
- 3). Notice overall changes in your body. As with any cancer (and with many other diseases and disorders) the body will undergo abnormal changes that are fully noticeable especially in the mid to late stages of any disease or disorder. If you start to notice a mild ache in your groin or lower abdomen, abnormal sensitivity (generally more obvious in the groin area) and unexplained fatigue you should alert your doctor because these may or may not be signs of testicular cancer but are certainly nothing to gamble with.
