If you have ever asked yourself this question then that means you want to know more about writing fiction.
I am going to teach you some of the basic stuff here, from my own experience in this domain.
Let us start with something very basic: it doesn't matter what kind of fiction you write, book - novel - article - short stories, you must always remember that you should have a Beginning, a Middle and a End.
This might sound pretty simple, but you would be surprised if I told you how many people get this wrong.
You must always remember that in the beginning you should always start introducing your main characters and set up the scene for the story to come.
In the middle of the book you should add some kind of obstacles that your character(s) have to overcome in order to proceed further down the storyline.
This technique maintains interest and keeps the reader in a state of tension.
Using this technique you can also create a Climax point for the storyline.
In the end you basically have to tie up all the loose ends and actually finish the storyline.
This is the part where most people get it wrong and don't really know how to do it.
You see, if you leave something unfinished, like some details about a character and stuff like that, the reader will want to learn how he ended up or just more details about him.
So you see, you must chain everything together at the end of the book so the reader really feels that he had seen it all.
