Panama Canal Norwegian Cruises

      Norwegian Cruise Line offers Panama Canal cruises ranging from 13 to 19 days aboard the Norwegian Star or the Norwegian Pearl. Both ships offer duty-free shopping, several bars and lounges, a casino, spa and fitness center, on-board activities, bingo and Broadway style shows. Each ship also has a special section for teens with dancing, playing video games or just hanging out and a club for younger children to play games, do arts and crafts, take naps or watch television.

    13-Day Panama Canal Cruise

    • Cruise on the Norwegian Star between Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California with embarkation in both cities. Cruise through the Panama Canal during daylight to take in the beauty of the area. In addition to six days at sea the ports-of-call include Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco, Mexico, Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia. Tourists typically enjoy seeing the legendary la Quebrada cliff divers while in Acapulco, swimming with the dolphins in Cabo San Lucas and snorkeling in Chileno Bay. Huatulco is famous for it's pristine shoreline composed of more than 36 beaches spread between rough cliffs.

    14-Day Panama Canal Cruise

The cruise includes six days at sea and ports in Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco, Mexico; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia. Experience a day seeing one the worlds man-made wonders of the world, the Panama Canal. Tourists can shop along the cobblestone streets in the walled city of Cartagena, view volcanoes in Puerto Quetzal and visit the Carara Tropical Rain forest in Puntarenas.

    15-Day panama Canal Cruise

    • Norwegian cruise line offers three15-day Panama Canal cruises. Travel from Los Angeles to Miami, Los Angeles to Tampa, Florida or from Miami to Los Angeles. All cruises port in Cartagena, Colombia; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Huatulco, Acapulco and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The cruise between Los Angles and Miami also ports in Roatan, Honduras where vacationers can take a dip in Tabyana Beach where friendly dolphins swim ashore to greet them or tour the Dixon Cover Harbor with its visible shipwrecks and coral reefs in the clear water. The cruise to Tampa ports in Key West, Florida where tourists can visit the Key West Shipwreck Treasures Museum and the Key West Aquarium. In Tampa, be sure to visit the Museum of Art and the Museum of Science in addition to Busch Gardens.

    19-Day Panama Canal Cruise

    • Sail from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Miami, Florida aboard the Norwegian Star. Before the cruise spend some time exploring the world famous totem poles in Stanley Park, Chinatown and historic Gastown on the Vancouver city tour. Spend a day in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada touring Butchart Gardens and the Cragdoarroch Castle. The next stop is in Astoria, Oregon which is known as the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies, where passengers can ride the 1913 trolley along the river walk, take a lighthouse tour or visit the Colombia River Maritime Museum. In San Francisco, see the famous Golden Gate Bridge and ride the cable cars. Explore Venice Beach or stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame while in Los Angeles. The ship also ports in Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia before disembarking in Miami. Spend a day sailing through the Panama Canal as well as eight days at sea.
