- 1). Order your scooter. Dayang scooters are imported and available both online and in California showrooms from Buy Bikes Pro.
- 2). Take the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) and the Bill of Sale to your state licensing division for any required state certifications. In some states, no licenses are required for 50cc scooters. In other states, a minimal fee is required for a sticker. In yet other states, 50cc scooters require full licensure.
- 3). Once your scooter arrives, you will need to attach a few components. Buy Bikes Pro assembles and tests each scooter before shipping, but removes several components for shipping.
- 4). Remove the box and unbolt the steel cage that protects the scooter during shipment.
- 5). Remove the steel cage and roll the scooter out of the shipping container. Most scooters are shipped with both wheels attached.
- 6). Add the acid to the battery by pouring it into the battery reservoir and tightening the caps. Leave the battery for at least 30 minutes before installing it in the scooter. The battery should have enough power to start the scooter without charging.
- 7). Attach the handlebars to your scooter, if they aren't already attached, by slipping them on the stem and bolting down the retaining plate. Attach any handlebar covers or shroud.
- 8). Screw the mirrors into the threaded mounts on the handlebars and tighten them using a wrench.
- 9). Install the battery by bolting the red cable to the positive side of the battery and the black cable to the negative side of the battery.

Add gasoline and start the scooter.
