- 1). Talk to a salesperson at a home supply or department store or anywhere a wide variety of curtains are sold. Ask which curtain track is the best option for your needs. Also discuss the type of curtain and clips you will need for the room divider.
- 2). Measure and mark the area where you need to install the curtain track. This ensures it's centered if the curtains are to divide the room in half.
- 3). Install the curtain track with the screws that came with it. Use an electric or regular screwdriver.
- 4). Add the clips to the curtain and install them in the curtain track. This allows you to draw the curtains back easily if you desire to open up the space.
