Your Diet is Important If You Have Acid Reflux

If you suffer from Acid Reflux you are quite aware that the foods that you eat can either ease the symptoms or make it worse.
There are some foods that you can eat that will ease the pain and suffering and make you feel better.
Use these tips to feel better and beat the pain associated with acid reflux.
  1.
Eat smaller meals more frequently.
This way your stomach always has food it.
Don't over eat which will make this disease worse and the symptoms more severe.
  2.
Try not to eat diets high in fat.
This includes high fat meats these foods take longer to digest and makes more stomach acid.
This would include foods that are cooked in fats or high fat meats.
  3.
Some foods that will trigger more symptoms in acid reflux is garlic bread, spicy foods, spaghetti sauce and tomato products like pizza, lasagna.
Orange juice, lemon, grapefruits may make things worse, as well as french fries and onions.
Even foods that appear safe to eat can cause a flare-up, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and even ice cream should be used sparingly.
    4.
Eat more of the foods that will cause you the least amount of symptoms with acid reflux such as apples, banana, potatoes, peas, carrots, rice, and pretzels.
This will be safe for you to eat and will not make your symptoms less severe.
  5.
Try to take a few tablespoons of organic apple vinegar.
For some reason apples and vinegar will ease the pain.
While this is horrible to drink, it does work within minutes - at least for me it does.
If you change your diet and the amount of food you eat at meals you may be able to control this disease and be able to be symptom free without taking medication or prescriptions.
