860-345-8591 - Eagle Tours, which set out from Haddam, take place from January to March, when many of the world's migrating birds call Connecticut home for a short time. The Eagle Tours take guests out on expeditions to see bald eagles, among other birds, and is sponsored by the Connecticut Audubon Society. The cruises depart from Haddam in Eagle Landing State Park at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and frequently on Saturdays and Sundays. The tours last about an hour and a half and routes are based on word-of-mouth eagle sightings.
