- 1). Turn on the computer and open an Internet browsing tool. Go to the website www.maps.google.com.
- 2). Find your location using the zooming tool on the left of the map and your pointing device to center the location. Zoom in as close as possible and center your location in the middle of the screen.
- 3). Click the "Link" button on the top right of the screen and a Web link will appear with "Paste link in e-mail or IM" written above it. Copy the link and paste it in the browser's Web link field at the top-center of the screen.
- 4). Obtain your latitude and longitude coordinates from this web link. It will be the first two numbers following "&ll=". The numbers are in this format: xxx.xxxxxx. The first number is the latitude and the second number is the longitude.
