- 1). Power on your video game system that contains "Pro Evolution Soccer 6."
- 2). Insert "Pro Evolution Soccer 6" into the game system.
- 3). Select "Edit" from the main menu.
- 4). Edit players in "Player Edit." You can change their physical attributes, including their hairstyle, facial hair and accessories. You can also change every skill attribute to your liking, including ball control, speed and acceleration. You cannot edit player's appearances in the Microsoft Xbox 360 version, but you can edit their skill attributes.
- 5). Change team names, jerseys and logos in "Team Edit." Use the paint editor to design logos. Select from the wide variation of jersey styles to customize your team. Change the team's name and abbreviation if you prefer. You cannot edit jerseys on the PSP version, and you cannot edit teams at all in the Xbox 360 version.
- 6). Use "Back Number Edit" to change player's jersey numbers. In soccer, the number "10" is given to the best offensive player on your team. If you have a new player that deserves this number or a different one, you can do so in "Back Number Edit."
- 7). Open the "Stadium Edit" mode to create your own stadium. In "Stadium Edit," you are given different styles of bleachers and designs to make a unique soccer stadium.
- 8). Rename leagues with "League Name Edit," in which you can personalize each league to your choosing. Use the in-game alphabet screen to input the league name you want. You cannot rename leagues in the Xbox 360 version
- 9). Design cleats in "Boot Edit." You can change color and design of in-game cleats using one of the many patterns in the game. The Xbox 360 version does not have the "Boot Edit" mode.
