Michigan is home to thousands of Polish-American people, many of whom love to celebrate their heritage and their ancestral homeland. One of the most fun ways to do this is by attending a Polish festival, most of which include dancing--especially the polka. Many Polish festivals are celebrated in Michigan, and each has some unique aspects. - This annual festival has taken place annually for almost 40 years on the campus of St. Mary's Orchard Lake. Among the highlights of the festival are the live musical entertainment acts and a very large dance floor--perfect for visitors to give Polish dancing a try. In 2010, the festival had more than 10 live acts. Tickets range from $20 to $23.
