Don't tell me you thought those great rates were going to last forever? If the insurance industry is any indicator of the climate for consumers in 2010...then things may not be looking up. If you didn't see the list for 2009 you can feel free to drop me an email and I'll gladly forward it on to you.
2010 starts off in the Pennsylvania auto insurance category with Progressive Specialty signing in with a rate increase of 5.5% effective February 26, 2010. So if you already got your bill and it went up..there's your explanation. Progressive preferred also took a 5.5% bump on the same date. You need to remember that Progressive operates many different companies so you'll have to see if this is the one you've got. Trustguard insurance a member of the Grange group took a really nice jump and checks in with a positive 12.8% increase effective 3/1/10...oh, that's a dandy! Next on the list is Nationwide Affinity Ins of the Nationwide group with a 3.0% increase. Allstate Fire & Casualty comes in with a 6.8% rate increase going into effect on April 1st, 2010. Travelers Home and Marine and Travco of the Travelers group finish off the list that I have with rate increases of 3.0% and 3.8% respectively.
Stay tuned for future updates as I receive the info. In case you're wondering what the heck to do with the information I just passed along...share it with your friends and neighbors. Take a trip over to my site and get a pennsylvania auto insurance rate that could save you hundreds. <!-- From http://www.buzzle.com/articles/psst-wanna-know-whos-raising-their-pennsylvania-auto-insurance-rates.html -->
