Three Potential Symptoms of Cancer

Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cells in a certain part of the body.
This may lead to the destruction of cells and tissues nearby and then spreading to the other parts of the body such as the blood.
Cancer also destroys the DNA of the infected cells, thus disturbing the entire balance in the body.
Often cancer is not detected until a very late stage.
This is where diagnosis and treatment become difficult.
When the cancerous growth is localized, it is easier to operate on it.
This becomes virtually impossible when it spreads to the blood or the lymph.
Therefore, early detection and diagnosis is very necessary.
There are three common signs of cancer that can help in early detection.
The first sign is the formation of lumps.
Because of the cancerous growth and the resulting tumor there can be unnatural lumps in a particular part of your body.
This is common in breast cancer and skin cancer.
You should watch out for this sign and also observe if the lump shows any signs of receding.
When the lump persists you need to visit a doctor.
The second sign is that of unnatural bleeding.
Bleeding is a sign of cancer, in cases like when you spit blood.
That is a sign of lung cancer.
When there is a rectal bleeding, it may be ovarian cancer or prostate cancer.
Even if it is not cancer, you should determine the cause for the bleeding because it is definitely not good.
The third sign of cancer is unexplained weight loss.
This happens when cancer starts affecting your digestion.
