Remember your first anime convention? Well, that's the idea behind Dramacon, a new manga from TOKYOPOP.

Created by Svetlana Chmakova (Chasing Rainbows, Night Silver), Dramacon is the story of Christie Leroux, a 17 year old aspiring writer who is attending her very first convention. There she meets up with the mysterious Matt Green, a sarcastic and somewhat withdrawn 19 year old that Christie just can't seem to stop thinking about.

Of course, Christie already has a boyfriend - Derek - but maybe he's not the one for her afterall.

And then there's Lida Zeff, renowned manga-ka, whom Christie idolizes plus a number of surprises that seem to throw her one curve ball after another. Its not long before the convention weekend is over and Christie must deal with the distance that separates her from Matt.
