How to Clean Quartz Bathroom Vanity Tops

    • 1). Use a putty knife to scrape away any substance that has been allowed to dry on your quartz vanity top. The quartz is naturally resistant to scratching, and substances such as dried food, gum, or even nail polish can be successfully removed by scraping.

    • 2). Dampen a cloth or sponge and wipe the surface down with warm water. You may use soap if you prefer. Because of the nonporous nature of quartz, most stains and spills will come up this way with little effort.

    • 3). Clean more difficult stains using a nonabrasive cleaning pad or sponge coupled with a mild chemical cleaner. Take care to use only chemical cleaners that are of a low pH and do not contain bleach.

    • 4). Spray a degreaser onto the quartz surface to remove greasy or sticky messes that cannot be removed with a putty knife or soap and water. Wipe the degreaser away with a cleaning pad. Do not be afraid to do a bit of light scrubbing, if necessary. Your countertops were specifically engineered to resist damage from even the toughest messes.
