Held April 10th and 11th, 2010 at the Rio Vista Skateboard Park in Peoria AZ. Entrance fee is $125 per rider, with the 1st place getting $3000, 2nd - $2000, 3rd - $1000. Only 100 spots are available, and anyone can enter but they must have a nationally recognized industry sponsor to enter.More »
Grind For Life was founded in 2003 by life-long skateboarder Mike Rogers, after his second battle with sarcoma cancer. The mission of the Grind For Life organization is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when traveling long distances to doctors and hospitals. In addition, we educate and inspire these patients and families concerning cancer survival and recovery. Funds for this organization will be raised by hosting skateboarding events and festivals, ebay sales of donated goods, fundraisers, Grind For life sponsors a skateboard team to perform at these events to keep the spirit of skateboarding alive.

The Central Valley AM JAM is a series of four contests beginning with a kick off party and comp in Atwater March 13, 2010. Then the series starts in Riverbank, Ca on April 17th, 2010, then continuing onto Tracy, Ca on May 15th 2010. The next stop is Ripon, Ca on June 19, 2010 and then lastly Ceres, Ca. on July 17, 2010. Prizes are provided by sponsoring board shops as well as participating sponsors.
At each stop the 5 five age groups 9 and under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-17, and 18+. Each contest runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, costs $15 to enter, and helmets are required. Each first place skater in each division will qualify for a chance to skate in the Maloof Money Cup amature street competition.More »
The Monster Skate Contest is an amateur skate competition series held throughout San Luis Obispo County in California. This is a six-contest series, starting on March 27th 2010in Atascadero, and continuing over the next two months. The contest has a $15 entry fee, and you need to be wearing appropriate safety gear.
The series ends in April, with the following events:
