- 1). Place the soft cloth on a table and put on the work gloves. Hold the PSP Slim battery in your left hand with the warning sticker facing up. Hold the utility knife in your right hand.
- 2). Insert the tip of the utility knife into the seam between the two parts of the battery at the top right edge. Move the tip of the utility knife down the side of the battery to separate the two parts.
- 3). Repeat this procedure on the left side, top and bottom of the battery.
- 4). Pull the top part of the battery off the back with your fingers and set it aside.
- 5). Put the back part of the battery on the soft cloth with the electronic circuits facing up.
- 6). Grab hold of the front end of the green circuit board on the bottom shell with your fingers.
- 7). Lift up on the front end of the circuit board until the computer chips on the bottom are facing up.
- 8). Rotate the back part of the battery so the green circuit board is on the left side.
- 9). Locate the computer chip near the front bottom edge of the board next to the text labeled "19."

Insert the tip of the utility knife beneath the bottom right pin of the computer chip. Lift up on the tip of the utility knife to break the pin of the computer chip from the circuit board. - 11
Scratch around the space where the pin was with the tip of the utility knife to remove all vestiges of the pin from the circuit board. - 12
Grab the front edge of the circuit board with your fingers and unfold it back onto the back part of the battery. - 13
Put the front part of the battery back onto the back part. Affix a piece of electrician's tape to the seam at both sides of the two parts of the PSP Slim battery that is now a Pandora battery.
