- 1). Dampen a cloth with warm water and wring it out. Apply 3 or 4 drops dish detergent to the cloth. If you use natural stone cleaner, apply it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 2). Wipe the countertop with the damp cloth. Scrub any stains with a nonabrasive scrubbing pad.
- 3). Rinse the cloth with warm water, and wring it out. Wipe the countertop to remove the detergent residue.
- 4). Dry the countertop with a soft cloth.
