It is easy to get distracted by the many offers you will receive in your email and elsewhere but jumping from one get rich quick scheme to another is a recipe for disaster which will leave you with a trail of blog or website failures behind you and a huge amount of frustration.
So you need to decide at the outset what particular system you will employ and stick with it rigidly.
Key 2 - Do Your Homework
You need to research the area that you are going into with great care and look to the leaders or opinion formers in that genre who have had success. You need to ignore the fast buck merchants and snake oil peddlers and I recognise that this is difficult because it is impossible at the beginning to discern who has integrity and who has not.
Key 3 - Get Your Hands Dirty
I mean you will have to get stuck in and be prepared to fail..and maybe fail a few times. But this is fine because with each failure you are learning valuable lessons.
And one of the biggest mistakes many people make is that they will not take any action until they feel their site or article or whatever is perfect.
It will never be perfect. So publish and be damned!
Making money with a website is achievable and if you can do it once, just once, then you just need to scale up the whole process.
