- 1). Place a large drain pan beneath the radiator drain plug on the driver's side of the radiator.
- 2). Loosen the drain plug with a wrench until the coolant begins to drain into the pan.
- 3). Tighten the radiator drain plug completely after the coolant drains. Remove the drain pan from under the truck and dispose of the used coolant properly.
