What is "Wainy Days"?:
David Wain, director of cult comedy classic Wet Hot American Summer and former member of Stella and The State, stars in this series about a fictionalized lovelorn version of himself who works in a sweatshop.
For those familiar with Wain's previous work, the series' style is pretty much what you expect - exaggerated clichés mixed with non sequiturs to create a bizarre and truly funny end result. The series features features many celebrity guest stars, most of whom have worked with Wain the past.
Every episode features David making romantic advances which ultimately fail, but the series is far from formulaic. It's much, much too weird for that. Required viewing for any fan of his previous work.
