- 1). Position the first drywall sheet against the wall frame at the very edge of the project space. Start at the top of the area so you are working your way down.
- 2). Make a mark on the drywall where each stud is located behind the sheet.
- 3). Drive nails through the drywall and into the wall studs. Install the nails six inches deep to ensure a solid connection.
- 4). Repeat the process for every piece of drywall needed. Score and snap the drywall down to size when you get to the point where you need to cut the drywall to make it fit in the required space.
