- 1). Download and install a BitTorrent client to your computer. There are a wide range of clients available, so you can download whichever one works best for you and your needs. µTorrent is one of the most popular because it has a Mac and PC version of the client. You can find the a link to the client under Resources.
- 2). Visit a torrent cataloging site, where you can find any number of torrent files for all the games you want to play. There are a number of them on the web; Pirate Bay and ISO Hunt, located under Resources, are two of the most popular.
- 3). Search for the game you want to play by typing in the game title. You should probably add "Mac" if you're a Mac user and know there's a Mac version of the game. If you don't have the CD for the game, you may also want to add "No CD" to the search.
- 4). Scroll through the search results until you find one that is the game that you're looking for. You can click the title of the torrent for more information before downloading. For example, you should look at the torrent contents. You also need to find one that has a large number of "seeders" or "sharers."
- 5). Download the game torrent file. There is often a link that reads "Click here to download this torrent." Wait for the file to download.
- 6). Open the BitTorrent client and add the torrent file. You can either do this by double-clicking the torrent file or by finding the "Add to Queue" function. If you cannot find this button, consult the online help for your client program.
- 7). Wait for the torrent file to download. There will be a progress bar on the client's display. The client has to first connect to the other people who are sharing the files before it can download them.
