- Some common side effects of Namenda are dizziness, headaches, constipation, high blood pressure, hallucinations, vomiting, shortness of breath and pain. You should call your doctor if these symptoms persist or get worse over time.
- The signs of an allergic reaction are severe shortness of breath, chest tightness, swelling of lips, throat or tongue, rash, itching, speech changes and weakness on one side of body. You should call a doctor if this occurs.
- This pill is taken by mouth and can be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking this medication unless instructed by your doctor.
- Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, have severe urinary tract infections or are on a high protein diet.
- This medication may have increased or decreased effects if taken with herbal products. Also speak with your doctor before taking any cold medicines.
