- 1). Write a brief objective statement. Directly promote your volunteer work with the Girl Scouts. State the knowledge, skills and abilities you have gained as a Girl Scout Leader that will positively affect the organization you want to work for and specifically relate these attributes to the position you are applying for.
- 2). List volunteer organization(s) you are affiliated with. List the entire organization's name, including the local chapter. Highlight your position and duties. As in the objective statement, in this section you will also relate your volunteer responsibilities directly to the position for which you are applying. For example, if you are applying for a "head of gifts and fundraisers," list fund-raiser coordination for the troop, including projects that you were specifically in charge of, your duties and the outcome.
- 3). Provide information on any educational accomplishments. Highlight aspects of your educational career that would be an asset to the company and relate directly to the job qualifications listed.
