Fix Your Water Damaged Wood Floor in 4 Easy Steps

If you have water damaged wood floor, there are several steps you need to take in order to repair the damage.
The most important aspects are making sure that you dry the floor, relieving the physical stress of the floor planks, and making sure that you don't have to pay for the damage.
With all of these factors accounted for, you can greatly reduce damage to your floor, pocket book, and pride.
Tip #1Make Sure The Floor Is Dry Buy or rent industrial fans to absorb the moisture in the floor.
You should also use a mop or towel to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.

Tip #4 See If Insurance Will Cover It I know you don't want to pay for the damage.
If you don't have to, you shouldn't.
You would be surprised at how often this type of repair can be covered by insurance.
The time you take to see if you are covered will be worth the money you spend to fix the problem on your own.
If you find yourself with a damaged hardwood floor, make sure you eliminate moisture, pressure, and expenses.
