This is the most effective tech product I even have ever used. will digitize all books and skim on your computer or Kindle with ease. it's shockingly quick if you're migrating from a daily flatbed scanner. The bundled software package (Adobe and Fujitsu software) makes the scanner really more cost-effective that's looks. Its realiable with rare jams if your documents are clean and properly cut and aligned. albeit pages are the other way up the scanner adjusts the rotation automatically. Would advocate purhcase to anyone trying to digitize books or attend a paperless workplace.
The primary disadvantage is to keep up this scanner the therefore referred to as "consumables" are quite expensive. fujitsu recommends purhcase of some proprietary cleaner. I did not dare use alcohol nor water and ended up shopping for the cleaning sheets (so referred to as F1 wipes) at >$20 per box of two dozen wipes. they have to lower the worth or disclose whether or not different non-propeietary cleaners are OK. Supposedly the wipes forestall dirt from sticking to the surfaces however once five,000 pages one still sees paper dirt within. Would advocate keeping the scanner clean though given how expensive it's. Still this scanner may be a nice worth and in terms of potency its the most effective tech product I even have ever used.
I had almost given up on trying to have our small business go paper-free after trying to use our regular printer scanner - way too time consuming for the scanner. I love how fast this scans. This is definately a huge time saver and I can't wait to try again the first of the year. Very pleased with the price, efficiency, and size of the scanner.
