Mistake #1- Shirking the responsibility of the damages made by you The hotel owners make their hotels with profit and loss in mind.
So even if you break something they will take the damage charges and that will be all of the matter.
However a homeowner had built his home with a lot of dreams and with each article in that house he can personally relate himself.
Hence if you break or damage something it may hurt your host.
So be very careful.
And above all confess at once that you have done it.

Mistake #2- Exhausting the AC Granted that you are paying for the rental home and its services but making wastage of the resources and power is not only irritating and problematic for your rental home host but it is also a national wastage.
So please do not run the AC 24 hours a-day.
When you are out hiking or sight-seeing or in the veranda please switch off the AC.
And yes, don't forget to switch off the lights and fans too when you are not using them.
In this way your host will not have an astronomical bill at the end of the period of your stay and you would have proved yourself as a dutiful citizen and a considerate guest.
Mistake#3- Not being kind to those at your Service Remember that your stay at the vacation apartment rentals would not have been a pleasurable experience if there were no attendants to look after your needs and comfort.
So don't forget to tip the attendants Tip them adequately and without any grumbling or complain.
This will not only endear you to your host but also to those who had attended on you.
