- The Indian government has established partnerships for education with some reputed providers of information technology. One of them is IBM, a corporation whose goal is to improve student performance, teacher training and the quality of textbooks. It provides opportunities for students and teachers to access teaching and learning materials and gives school administrators the tools to improve the curricula.
- Another major corporation involved in the development of India's information technology education is Intel. It offers in-service IT training programs for teachers and pre-service training programs for future teachers in universities. Teachers can also benefit from sharing their experience of integrating technology in the classroom. For that purpose Intel has created the National Educators' Network, an efficient and modern way of communication among teachers.
- There are also institutes and universities which prepare students for the rapidly changing technology and the needs of the global market. Some of them are: Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) and International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad.
