Just remember that you must always be sincere in everything that you do.

In addition to (or maybe in place of) a geographic farm, consider having a "business farm.
" Find ways to interact with the area business owners.

Create cross-promotion opportunities.
Not only will a small business farm connect you with leaders in your community, it can potentially connect you with all their customers and clients as well.
