- 1). Pick 4-inch-by-4-inch tiles from a home improvement store to match your home decor. Choose stone tiles for texture and interest.
- 2). Paint the top of the tile with a coat of decoupage paste.
- 3). Smooth the napkin onto the tile. Be careful as the napkin will be fragile as you smooth it onto the tile. Let the tile dry to the touch.
- 4). Coat the tile with a second coat of decoupage paste. While the napkin is still wet, pull the napkin down around the edges of the tile to remove the excess. Let the tile dry to the touch.
- 5). Trace the tile onto the corkboard and trim the corkboard to fit on the bottom of the tile. Run a bead of hot glue around the edge of the bottom of the tile and press the corkboard into place.
- 6). Spray the tops of the coasters with acrylic spray to seal the coasters and protect them from water damage.
