Premise:

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes brings her creative genius to another medical drama that is sure to touch our hearts. The series takes place in "la ciudad de las estrellas," a tiny town in the South American jungle with a very understaffed clinic in great need of talented doctors. Six doctors, all of whom are running away from some sort of emotional issues and personal demons back home, arrive at the clinic and soon realize their new path is much different than anything they've ever dealt with as they battle the elements in this challenging and dangerous environment.

Canceled!:

Shonda Rhimes may have found success with Grey's Anatomy and its spin off Private Practice, but viewers just didn't flock to this medical drama in the same fashion as they did the other two. ABC canceled the show in May, 2011 after all 13 episodes had aired.
