Best Way to Get from Madrid to Logroño
The bus is easily the best way to get from Madrid to Logroño. It only takes slightly longer than the train, requires no transfer and is much cheaper.

Madrid to Logroño by Bus
There are buses throughout the day from Madrid to Logroño. The journey takes four hours and can be nearly 60% cheaper than taking the bus (around 23 euros, usually). Madrid to Logroño by Train
There are no direct trains from Madrid to Logroño, but you can make the journey - with one change - in under three-and-a-half hours. The quickest journey costs around 60 euros. Trains depart from Atocha train station. Book train tickets from Rail Europe.
Madrid to Logroño by Car
It takes a little under four hours to drive from Madrid to Logroño. However, I would take a slight detour and go via Burgos to see the cathedral, perhaps stopping in the other famous wine region, Ribera del Duero (if you have a designated driver, that is).
